Graduated from the Military Medicine School in Mexico City in 1981, with a degree of Surgeon-Major.
In 1982, he completed his Post –Graduate studies and rotation internship at the Central Military Hospital.
Begins his General Surgery Residency program at the Military Hospital in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, concluding in 1985.
Starts Residency for his degree as Plastic Surgeon on at the “Jose Guerrero Santos” Reconstructive, Esthetic, and Plastic Surgery Plastic Surgery Institute in Jalisco, graduating with Honors in 1988.
In 1989, he pursues post-graduate studies, namely a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery, at the University of California School of Medicine
By 1990, he founded the hair transplant group in the city of Tijuana, B.C. and receives the most intensive, in-depth training from two of the best teachers the world has to offer in the art of hair micro transplant, Doctor William Rassman and Doctor Robert Berstein.
In 1994, he finally reaches his goal by inaugurating GARDEL HAIR RESTORATION INSTITUTE and GARDEL PLASTIC SURGERY in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico.
