Dr. Juan Manuel Dipp specializes in the following procedures:
Orthopedic Spine Surgery, General orthopedic residence in Mexico City, One Year fellowship in Spine Surgery, Madrid, Spain. Practice in Tijuana, Mexico, member and regional president of Northwest chapter for Mexican Spine Surgeons association, practice mostly in Trauma and Degenerative Cervical and Lumbar surgery, Lumbar decompression, spinal fusion at all levels with Cervical plating and Lumbar transpedicular fixation.
Dr. Dipp is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. His Internship took place at the Hospital of Traumatology and Orthopedics of Lomas Verdes in Mexico, where he specialized in Traumatology and Orthopedics.
International training in Spine Surgery took place at Hospital La Paz in Madrid, Spain.
For the last ten years Dr. Dipp has been the head of the Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery Department at the Del Prado Medical Center and Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. He is also on staff at Hospital Angeles Tijuana.
Dr. Dipp’s ongoing education and participation in International seminars has taken him around the world as a student and a teacher.
He is the principal investigator and surgeon for Percudyn’s Dynamic Lumbar Stabilization System, a minimally invasive alternative to spinal fusion to alleviate lower back pain while preserving range of motion. Dr. Dipp wrote the protocol for the procedure and has performed it about 250 times–more than half of the total LDS surgeries performed in the past 2 years. In addition, Dr. Dipp is the principal investigator on 4 other new spinal procedures.
Most recently, Dr. Dipp has traveled to Austria, Switzerland, India, Germany, Turkey, Peru and England training surgeons to perform the LDS procedure. In fact, he has visited 26 countries so far to train on the revolutionary procedure.
